Trevor Pearcey House - Operational Assessment

In 2007, Viridis was involved in the Trevor Pearcey House project being awarded a 6 Star Green Star - Office Design v2 rating. At the time, the building undertook a ground-breaking retrofit, delivered on a conventional budget.The Green Building Council of Australia has since revisted Trevor Pearcy House to investigate how the building is performing today. Results show the building is currently achieving an energy reduction of 52%, water consumption has been reduced by 85% and an internal staff survery has shown an increase in productivity of 6.2% (a big benefit estimated at around $1.5million of extra value over 5 years).

City West Offices Achieves 6 Star As Built Rating

The 9/31 City West Offices building, home to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) in Canberra’s CBD, has just been awarded a 6 Star Office As Built v2 rating. This great result follows on from the achievement of the 6 Star Design v2 rating, from an original project target of 5 Stars Design and As Built. Viridis E3 were the Green Star Accredited Professionals and ESD/Green Star Consultants on the project.
