Project Description:

 

The SIRIUS Offices are a $132 million dollar construction comprising of a total of 45,000m2 of office space. It was constructed with an integrated fitout for a single tenant, The Department of Health and Aging. SIRIUS is a new generation office building offering flexible, functional accommodation and has achieved a 5 Star Office Design v2 rating and is registered for an Office As-Built v2 rating.

 

Viridis E3 Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Viridis E3 were engaged by the Builder, DOMA Constructions, to manage, compile and deliver both the Green Star Design and As-Built ratings. This process has involved extensive workshops to develop a Green Star pathway to identify all Green Star points that the design could allow for and aide the design team in achieving the environmental goals in the most cost-effective manner.

 

Throughout construction Viridis E3 were also on-site each week to manage all contractors and give guidance to the builder in regards to Green Star. Through the establishment of a document tracking process and on-site audits Viridis E3 were able to continually track the progress of the Green Star As-Built rating and manage any risks that arose during construction.
